Main Street is located south of the 10 Santa Monica Freeway. From the 10 Freeway Westbound, exit at 4th Street and turn left (south). Drive 2 blocks , passing the Civic Center on your right, and turn right (west) at Pico Blvd– the second stoplight. Proceed a couple blocks to the next stoplight and turn left (south) onto Main Street. Main Street runs south for 11 blocks with most restaurants and shopping concentrated toward the middle and south end of the street.

If you’re staying at one of the hotels or motels on Ocean Ave., just go south to Pico, take a left, then a right onto Main Street, which is only a block away. Or you can take the Tide Shuttle, which runs from the hotels to Main Street and then to the Promenade and loops back to the hotels.

Parking is available on the street, in various private lots, at the beach, and in municipal lots between Main Street and Nielsen Avenue.
