Tree-lighting with music by the Samohi Choir 6pm California Heritage Museum lawn, 2612 Main Street (just south of Ocean Park Blvd.)

Following the Tree-lighting, a Candlelight Walk to the famous Shopping Cart Tree at Edgemar Courtyard and music by the Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers (approx. 6:30pm)

Additional caroling at the parties by The Music Companie and by Green Brooms Music Academy.

Santa will be arriving at the Museum lawn at 5pm, Saturday, Dec. 3, in a Santa Monica Fire Truck (!) to pose for photos with your kids- it’s free; bring your own camera; then he’ll lead the Candlelight walk after the Tree Lighting to the Shopping Cart tree at Edgemar, then he will stroll the street, again available for photos and with a hearty Ho Ho HO!!

Holiday Parties at numerous Main Street businesses, 6pm - 9pm

Caroling along the street and at the parties, 6:15pm - 8:30pm, by the Samohi Choir and the Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers.

The annual Holiday Decorations Contest: vote on your favorite window and/or interior; your ballot doubles as a raffle entry so you have a chance to win a prize from a Main Street business. Voting will take place between 5pm Nov. 25 and 9pm Dec. 3.

HOLIDAY PARTIES
As of 11/18/11 the following merchants will be having Holiday Parties. This list will grow as the event approaches so please check back.

Accents Jewelry (2900 Main): Come party with us at ACCENTS on Saturday Dec. 3rd from 6-9 PM. Wine & Cookies and AXELHONEY trunkshow with lots of cool new jewelry and other gift items, made by our very own in house designer Melissa Contreras.  10% off during the party!

Agabhumi (2665 Main): This year Agabhumi is back with the fan favorite SNOWFLAKE SALE!  Spend $50 or more and catch a falling snowflake for a discount of 10%, 15% or even 20% OFF your purchase! Holiday treats and hot apple cider will be served.

Arm Candy (2717 Main):  we’ll present: CANDY LAND!  Saturday 12/3 from 6-9p, up to 40% off Handbags & Accessories, and Candy Buffet & Sweet Drinks

Arts & Letters (2665 Main): We will serve some treats.

Bike Attack (2400 Main): will be open until 8pm and offers snacks and super deals on bike light sets and helmets!

Books & Cookies (2230 Main): You’re invited to Books and Cookies Holiday shopping party. Leave the kids at home and join us for a fun evening of socializing, shopping and sweet giveaways. Mingle with other local parents, enjoy cocktails, snacks and store discounts. We will also have a gift wrapper on hand to wrap up your gifts before you head home, so that the little ones will never catch a peek of Santa’s handy work.

Buffalo Exchange (2449 Main): we will be offering our special recyclable Buffalo Exchange Bolsa tote bags for shoppers spending $100 or more! Also free goodies such as Buffalo Exchange stickers, tattoos and 2012 calendars!
